Jenny from the blog over at Suburban Jungle recently wrote a blog post titled Why You Should Never Ask Someone When They’re Due, Even if They’re at a Lamaze Class. Here’s what Jenny had to say on the topic…
“You hear about people uttering the dreaded, When are you due? to those not with child or to those who just had a child, all the time. We all know better than to ask that question unless we’re 110% sure. Frankly, I think you should witness the Clear Blue line on the pregnancy test before ever uttering that phrase.”

Patty Mooney’s comment on Jenny’s post included a YouTube link that I needed to post on this site.
This video made me laugh, made me smile, and beyond the humor reminded me that my “poo chi” belly does not define who I am. May all women everywhere love their bodies, regardless of how squishy or stretchy or flabby their tummies are!

That video had me in stitches! And my belly currently looks like that, 5 months postpartum. I’m working on trying to lose some of it now. This is my third baby and the weight is certainly not coming off as quickly this time. Thankfully the only person who has asked if I was pregnant was my 5 year old. Other people may have thought it though.
Your blog is great.
If you have time you should join twitter. I’m sure you’d find some people to commiserate with there. ; ) P.S. that’s sorta how I got here, through Jenny (Suburban Jungle).
Nice to “meet” you!
